Answering All Your Questions

  • Where are you located?

We are located at 2603 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806. We are in between Primrose and Bumby.

  • Can you tell me the value of my coins and currency?

Every collection is unique and its value will be based on a number of factors, including the type, date, mintage and condition of each piece. That is the reason, one of our numismatists must see the coin/currency or collection in order to provide you with an accurate appraisal.

  • Do you buy wheat cents?

Yes, as long as you have key dates or a large quantity of them. We do not go through them looking for key dates due to the time it takes, but if you sort through them and find the key dates we would be more than happy to put a price on it.

  • What is a 1943 Wheat Cent worth?

A 1943 steel cent is common and generally worth about .10cents (we give them to children who come into the shop in hopes to spark interest). A 1943 copper cent is rare simply because it was made from the wrong material and could be upwards of a million dollars.

  • Is a Sacagewea rare and worth a lot of money?

Generally, a Sacagewea is worth face value…$1. However, there is a 2000-P wounded eagle that is rare  and a 2000-P Cheerios  that has enhanced feathers that is also rare.

  • Do you buy coins just by the weight of the precious metal?

No, each coin is priced individually. Many factors contribute to the price of a coin…year, mint mark and condition, condition, condition.

  • How do I know that what I am buying is genuine and not fake?

We guarantee everything that we sell. All of our coins and precious metals are checked and verified with up to date technology. We can also test precious metals upon the customer's request with our XRF (XRF is an acronym for X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy. XRF is a non-destructive analytical technique used to determine the elemental composition of materials.)

  • Do you exchange currency?

Unfortunately, we are not set up to do foreign exchanges. However, we do buy vintage currencies from all over the world.

  • Should I clean my coins before having them looked at?

NO, never should you attempt to wipe or clean your coins. Doing so may result in you ruining the value of your coin.

  • Do you have collector coins for sale?

Yes, but they are not out for display. We ask that clients that are looking for collector coins to set up an appointment.

  • Do you certify coins?

No. We can give you our opinion on what the condition is and if a coin is worth certifying however, we would recommend NGC or PCGS (top grading services in the industry for coins).

  • How much do appraisals cost?

There is no charge for a simple verbal appraisal or estimate. For written appraisals the fee varies depending on the amount of time needed.
